A light, refreshing Bordeaux-style blend from two young California winemakers, Les Lunes’ “Cosmic Blend” is 50% Cabernet Sauvingnon, 40% Merlot, and 10% Cab Franc sourced from vineyards in Sonoma County. Shorter macerations and less aging deliver a playful, juicy table wine, lively and expressive with a nice berry fruit character and a touch of spice. This is California in a glass, a throwback to a pre-Parker era in which lighter, younger styles enjoyed their time in the sun.
