Another gem from Dacha Wines, Awake is bright and lively white wine perfect for the hot days and warm evenings of summer. This blend of Riesling & Gewurztraminer comes from grapes grown at Two Rivers Farm in Aurora OR, planted in 1977 by a group of followers of the New Age guru George Gurdjieff. The Armenian philosopher & mystic proposed, among other things, that most people wander through life in a kind of hypnotic sleep, but that it is possible to become 'Awake' through meditation & other forms of self-work; Isabel named this bottling in their honor.
