Founded by a family of expats living in Portland, Away Days makes quintessentially English beer with a decidedly Northwestern twist. Bus Stop Bitter is their take on the classic, sessionable pub beers found in watering holes throughout the UK. Built around the flavorful Maris Otter malt, it also employs the clean bitterness and spicy aromatics of Challenger hops, a strain originally bred at Wye College in Kent, southeast of London, and the traditional choice for any number of English ales and lagers. A sensible 4.5% ABV coupled with a  restrained 35 IBU, this is our new favorite for home games and away days alike.
