The Willamette Valley is covered in Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, but the two almost never get blended together. For their collaboration with Portland’s Bow & Arrow Windery, Post Familiar used Pinot Gris to make a red wine & blended it with classic red Pinot Noir, creating a fascinating insight into what happens when Pinot meets Pinot. Tastes like an antique medicine shop with shelves covered in dried herbs and tomato leaves and jars of salted Japanese plums.
