Trained sommelier and olive oil taster (a woman after our own hearts!) Elia Carta makes her bitters and liqueurs in fair Verona, near Lake Garda, using old family recipes handed down generation after generation. Her Americano Bianco is made from herbs, flowers, roots and other botanicals including lemon verbena, mint, citrus peel, nutmeg, and lemongrass sourced primarily from the slopes of Mount Baldo, also known as 'Hortus Europae,' or Europe's Garden. All infusions are done individually, blended according to Elisa’s recipe and then rested for a short time in small oak casks; a light filtration is performed to preserve color and aroma, as no chemicals or artificial coloring are used.
