Cantucci—biscotti's Tuscan cousin—is traditionally served alongside espresso or, after dinner, with a glass of the sweet dessert wine called Vin Santo. This is because these traditional cookies are quite dry; dipping them helps to soften them up. Tuscan bakery Fratelli Lunardi, established in 1966, makes theirs the traditional way, with almonds and a nice twice-baked crunch.
