A wonderful Everyman amaro, the primary flavors here are derived from cardoon and blessed thistle. Enjoy neat after dinner... It pairs excellently with funkier cheeses, like Epoisses. Also works well in refreshing long drinks with apple cider or ginger beer. The soft bitterness of cardoon works similarly to wormwood in mixing, so you can use Cardamaro as an amber vermouth, particularly with whiskey or apple brandy.
