Featuring an all-killer, no-filler line-up of guests, our 3rd Annual Tomato Fest includes all manner of tomato-centric action: Wellspent founder Jim Dixon will join renowned cookbook author Martha Holmberg and Hot Mama Salsa founder Nikki Guerrero for a series of cooking demos, OSU’s Dry Farming Project will offer a chance to taste and rate different tomatoes (and melons!), expert plant breeder Jim Myers will have samples of the mysterious ‘Indigo Rose’ tomato, Wild Roots Farm will have heirloom varieties for sale, pie queen Lauretta Jean's will be on hand with savory tomato treats, our partner in all things veg the Culinary Breeding Network will have cute tomato swag, and our own Dennis Wald is back with his legendary BLTs! It’s a can’t-miss celebration of summer’s favorite treat, so be sure to swing by THIS SATURDAY from 11am to 3pm!
