Made by the oldest winery in Alicante, if not Valancia, P. Quiles is a classic expression of the Spanish style. A base of Moscatel is macerated with a secret blend of herbs, flowers, and roots, leading to a bittersweet, soft, and gently herbal flavor profile with supporting notes of kola nut and earthy, floral aromatics. It's great over ice with the traditional green olive and orange garnish, and of course also works nicely as an afternoon spritz with light snacks of cured meats, tinned fish and cheese.
