Award-winning German winemaker Johannes Leitz has managed to do the impossible: create an alcohol-free wine that we actually love to drink. Using high-quality fruit, Leitz first makes a traditional wine before gently "dealcoholizing" it through a process of temperature-controlled evaporation. The result is a non-alcoholic Pinot Noir that is shockingly wine-like: clean and fresh, with fruity notes of red currants and cherries surrounded by a nicely embedded tannin structure and an almost dry finish. Just the thing when a clear head is the order of the day.
