This ripe, slightly yellowish cardamom thrives in the humid, high altitude cloud forests of Alta Verapaz, Guatemala. Grown using biodynamic & organic methods by a single-estate cardamom farm that emphasizes workers' rights, sustainability and fair business practices. Toast the whole pods lightly in a dry skillet and use them to flavor chai or any number of sweet and savory dishes. The seeds can be removed and used whole, crushed, or ground.
