Another delightful offering from 5th generation winemaker Leonard Bulli, this is what the farmers call semplice ma non banale, which translates to "simple, but not boring," and we couldn't agree more. Aromatic local Malvasia di Candia is gently pressed before seeing 5 days of skin contact; the wine is then bottled and left to ferment in the bottle, pet-nat style. The old-timers would call this bolle macerato, literally macerated bubbles, and the limestone and alkali soils lend a rustic minerality to this dry, refreshing, easy drinker.
