Our favorite condiment, now in a very cute 2-pack! Before she was one of Portland’s favorite sauce queens, Bobbie worked in graphic design, and this lovely printed box is packed with serving suggestions and recipes straight from the Boat. The sauce itself combines onions, garlic, and ginger slowly sautéed with fresh jalapeños, then simmered with spices, tomatoes, Thai chilis, lime juice, and vinegar. A touch of maple syrup balances out the spice and tang, and a splash of Vietnamese fish sauce adds depth and umami. We use Bobbie’s Boat Sauce on literally everything from tacos to rice bowls to fried egg sandwiches, and it’s deep flavors help to punch up sauces and marinades too. A truly all-purpose condiment.
