Medio Seco

Produced by Belem's MadeiraMadeira - Portugal

Established in 1932 by the last surviving member of the Henriques family, Belém’s Madeira pays homage to the family's ancestral home in Belém, Câmara de Lobos, the historic fishing village west of Funchal whose history is inextricably linked to that of Madeira — the island and the wine. Still owned by the same family, Belem's today is regarded as one of the most esteemed and storied producers on the island; this Madeira is made from tinta negra mole grapes and spends a minimum of three years in neutral oak. The resulting wine is medium-dry, notable for its vinous character and concentrated depth. Delicious in cocktails, or as an aperitif with cheese and nuts, this is also an exceptionally great cooking Madeira.
