Hanabi Plum Preserves
Produced by Ayako & FamilySeattle - WashingtonAyako Gordon makes deeply flavored jams from heirloom plums grown on century-old trees on Katsumi Taki’s organic farm in Yakima, Washington; the Hanabi Plum (hanabi means "firework" in Japanese) is one of their proprietary varieties. They are a smaller plum with black skins and crimson flesh with the bright, acid-forward flavor of cranberry and an earthy clove note on the finish.
